Welcome to It Hurts to Be Beautiful ✨
This space is where I share my personal skincare and beauty journey — including my own experiences with advanced skin treatments, Korean aesthetics, regenerative skincare, and professional-grade products.
Before anything else, please hear this clearly:
This is not medical advice.
This is not a tutorial.
This is not encouragement for anyone to perform treatments on themselves.
Do not try this at home.
I am simply documenting what I personally choose to explore, research, and experience on my own beauty journey. What I share here is for educational, entertainment, and personal documentation purposes only.
At It Hurts to Be Beautiful, you’ll find:
• My personal experience with advanced skincare — including microneedling, skin boosters, peptides, PDRN, collagen-supporting treatments, and rejuvenation protocols
• Product education — information about Korean skincare and medical-aesthetic products I have researched or personally used
• Real results and honest observations — what I notice, what I learn, what I would do differently, and what I believe matters most in skin transformation
• Cost-awareness conversations — why so many people are looking deeper into professional skincare options and how expensive in-office treatments can be
• Safety-focused discussion — including prep, aftercare, risks, realistic expectations, and why these treatments should be approached with extreme caution
• Aging-well mindset — focusing on healthier-looking skin, smoother texture, brighter tone, improved appearance of hyperpigmentation, firmer-looking skin, and long-term skin support
• No gatekeeping — just transparent conversation from my own perspective, without intimidation or judgment
This site is for people who want to learn, observe, research, and think critically about skin health and beauty treatments.
It is not a place to blindly copy what I do.
Please always consult a licensed medical professional, qualified provider, or trained skincare professional before considering any advanced treatment — especially anything involving needles, injections, blood products, medical devices, or prescription/clinic-level products.
I believe beauty is intentional.
I believe education matters.
I believe transparency matters.
And I believe every person is responsible for making safe, informed decisions for their own body.
So welcome to my journey.
Watch, learn, research, ask questions — but please, do not try this at home.
Because yes… sometimes it hurts to be beautiful — but safety should always come first. 💫
About It Hurts to Be Beautiful.
Since my 20s, I’ve been on a mission to find skincare that actually works — without breaking the bank.
Over-the-counter products weren’t cutting it, and I knew that one-off med spa visits weren’t the answer either. The truth is: real results take consistency… and consistency gets expensive real quick when you’re paying thousands for every appointment. That’s when I started digging deeper — learning, researching, getting my esthetician license and experimenting with treatments I could safely do at home. And that’s when I found the game-changer: South Korean skincare and medical-grade products. With the right knowledge, the right products, and a little confidence, I started getting the results I dreamed of — glowing, youthful skin — without the insane price tag.
And now? I’m sharing everything I’ve learned so you can do it too. It Hurts to Be Beautiful is all about helping you feel empowered in your own skin.
Real results. Real talk. No gatekeeping.
